SECTION 6 — THE INTEREST LETTER SYSTEM
This is the most technically complex part of the platform and generates the most questions.
How It Works
- Employer logs into O1DMatch
- Navigates to the candidate's profile using the candidate's ID number

The Attachment Field
When employers submit an interest letter, they're prompted to add an attachment. Valid attachments:

Letters Outside the Portal
Employers can send their own letters and they can be included in the petition package. However, letters generated through the portal are already USCIS-formatted, digitally signed, and confirmed received — no revision needed. The portal is the recommended path; separate letters are a backup option.
Commitment Levels
When an employer submits an interest letter, they select a commitment level that reflects the stage of the relationship — from general interest all the way through formal intent to extend an offer. The commitment level is captured on the letter and visible to the candidate and the eventual petition preparer. Security

Important
