The Attachment Field

Letters Outside the Portal

Employers can send their own letters and they can be included in the petition package. However, letters generated through the portal are already USCIS-formatted, digitally signed, and confirmed received — no revision needed. The portal is the recommended path; separate letters are a backup option.

When an employer submits an interest letter, they select a commitment level that reflects the stage of the relationship — from general interest all the way through formal intent to extend an offer.
